Fifteen years ago, we were approached by Linda Oldham with a request to establish a benefit ride for the Boys and Girls Homes of North Carolina, Inc.  After learning more about them, we were determined to make it happen, but we wanted to add a twist...  the Chapter Challenge!

   Riding in mass with folks you don't know can be dangerous, so we broke it down by setting the date, time, and destination, but allowing various groups to plan their own ride and meet us at Lake Waccamaw.  Annually, the Lake Waccamaw Ride is held on the first Saturday in May.

   Also, if you write a check to us, your money is delivered to the Boys and Girls Homes of North Carolina, Inc.  If your group raises money and participates, you deliver your own check directly to the same place.  So, with those concerns aside...
